MySoMart Marketplace Terms
These terms explain the relationship between customers, independent stores and the MySoMart marketplace when customers browse or place orders.
Effective: 21 August 2026
Marketplace role
MySoMart provides technology that helps customers discover and order from independent stores serving their community. The selected store is the seller of the products in an order. The store determines its product prices, accepts or receives customer payment, and controls acceptance, preparation, fulfilment, delivery, cancellation decisions and refunds.
MySoMart does not itself sell, pack or deliver a store's products unless an order screen expressly identifies it as the seller or fulfilment provider. The platform may provide technical support, notifications and grievance escalation. Nothing in these terms excludes duties imposed on MySoMart or a seller by applicable law, or limits rights that a customer cannot legally waive.
Store and product information
Store availability, catalogue content, stock, prices, discounts, product descriptions, images, delivery charges and estimates are supplied or controlled by the relevant store. A store may be visible for browsing while it is closed, but checkout remains unavailable until it is accepting orders.
Customers should review the selected store, product variants, quantities, delivery address, payment method and total shown at checkout before placing an order. Product appearance or packaging may reasonably vary, but statutory remedies remain available where products are defective, deficient, spurious, incorrectly described or otherwise covered by applicable consumer law.
Orders and payment
Submitting an order sends it to the selected store for fulfilment. An order may remain pending until the store confirms it. Payment instructions and status are shown in the order record. Where payment is made directly to a store, the store is responsible for confirming receipt and arranging any applicable refund.
Customers must provide accurate account, contact and delivery information and must not submit false payment references, misuse the service or interfere with another person's account.
Delivery, cancellation and refunds
The store controls delivery and communicates expected delivery information. Customers can contact the store from the order screen and can submit a cancellation request for an active order. A request is not an automatic cancellation: its status remains visible until the store approves or declines it.
Detailed information appears in the Cancellation, Refund & Delivery Policy.
Accounts, privacy and service availability
Customers are responsible for keeping their account access details secure. Use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. The platform may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, maintenance or compliance with law.
Questions and escalation
Order-specific concerns should first be sent to the store using the contact option shown with the order. If the store does not respond or the issue concerns the platform, contact MySoMart grievance support at support@mysomart.com with the order code. This escalation path does not replace any remedy available under applicable law.
