MySoMart Seller Terms and Conditions

Version 2026-09-01. These terms apply to every seller who applies to list or sell products through MySoMart.

Effective: 1 September 2026

Seller relationship and eligibility

You operate as an independent seller and remain responsible for your business, products, staff, taxes, licences, customer commitments and compliance with applicable law. Registration does not guarantee approval, activation, placement or sales. MySoMart is not your employer, agent, partner or product manufacturer.

Eligible business categories are Grocery & General Store; Cakes & Bakery; Homemade Food & Snacks; Fashion & Accessories; Jewellery & Accessories; Beauty & Personal Care; Home & Kitchen; Gifts, Toys & Stationery; Electronics & Accessories; Baby & Kids Products; Health & Wellness; Sports & Fitness; Pet Supplies; and Plants & Gardening.

Products and prohibited items

You may offer only lawful, genuine, safe and accurately described products that fit an approved category. Drugs and medicines—including prescription, over-the-counter, Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani, homeopathic and veterinary medicines—are prohibited on MySoMart. Health & Wellness is limited to lawful non-drug products such as ordinary hygiene supplies, bandages, gauze, cotton, medical tape, hot or cold packs, basic non-medicated supports, weighing scales and wellness accessories. Supplements, products marketed to treat disease and complex regulated medical devices are outside this Phase-1 scope.

You must not offer counterfeit, recalled, unsafe, expired, adulterated, mislabelled, restricted or infringing products. Product names, ingredients or materials, quantity, price, taxes, warnings, images, availability, warranty and other mandatory label information must be accurate and kept current.

Licences and food compliance

You must obtain and maintain every registration, licence, approval and product record required for your business and products. Cakes & Bakery and Homemade Food & Snacks sellers must submit a valid 14-digit FSSAI Registration or Licence number. MySoMart may require verification before activating the store or approving or listing food products.

You must promptly notify MySoMart if a licence expires, is suspended, cancelled or changes. MySoMart may request correction, pause a store, remove a product or seek supporting evidence when reasonably required.

Orders and customers

You are responsible for stock, preparation, packaging, hygiene, fulfilment, delivery commitments, invoices where required, cancellations, refunds, warranties, complaints and customer support attributable to your products or conduct. You must treat customer and order information as confidential and use it only to fulfil and support MySoMart orders or meet legal duties.

Platform operation

You must keep account credentials secure and ensure only authorised staff use Store Admin. Applicable subscription, platform, commission or promotional charges will be shown or agreed through MySoMart before they apply. You may not manipulate listings, reviews, orders, payments, promotions or platform security.

MySoMart may review applications and listings, request information, reject or remove products, restrict visibility, pause or terminate access, and preserve relevant records where needed for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, disputes or platform operation. Material changes to these terms may require renewed acceptance.

Content, liability and contact

You grant MySoMart a non-exclusive licence to display the business and product content you submit for operating and promoting the marketplace. You confirm that you have the rights to that content. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, loss or regulatory action caused by your products, content, legal non-compliance or breach of these terms.

These Seller Terms operate with the Seller Declaration, Marketplace Terms and Privacy Policy. Support questions may be sent to support@mysomart.com; grievances may be sent to support@mysomart.com.
